Skiing at Targhee
March 19, 2010

On Friday, March 19^th,  we will have a downhill skiing day at Targhee for kindergarten – 7^th grade!  The school will pay for lift tickets for any student who doesn’t have a season pass.  We will not be driving the school van up the hill so we are going to need quite a few drivers and also parent volunteers to ski with the students. 

 

Grand Targhee Resort has generously offered to donate adult all day lift tickets for any parent volunteers (that don’t already have a season pass).  Katie (the PE teacher and also a ski instructor) and I will be skiing with students that have either never downhill skied or who are beginners, so the parent volunteers will be skiing with intermediate and above skiers.  We are going to leave campus at 9am sharp and return at around 2:45. (We will try to arrange a Driggs pick up if we can get parent drivers from the north end of town!)  Please contact me in the office if you would like to ski/drive that day.  Thank you!  Cyndi
