A New Music Program

TVCS will be starting an 8 week music program with music teacher Susan Sargent beginning October 20th, for Kindergarten – 7^th grade! Kindergarten – 2^nd grade will meet with Susan for a half hour twice per week. 3^rd/4^th is scheduled for 40 minutes twice per week and 5-7^th will have 1 class per week for an hour and 10 minutes. They will study world music, some notation, rhythm, how to use and play the drums, xylophones and glockenspiels and learn some songs. Kindergarten -2^nd grades will also do some movement in their class. We hope to have a performance where students can showcase their musical talents before winter break.
